COMPETITIVE SPIRIT

In many circumstances we can say that every people in the world have born for success. When we get a school or working place or any where all of them are trying to become success. I think that's called Competitive Spirit. But there are always two sides with competitive spirit.

I have my day today examples to prove both sides of competitive spirit. My aunt is a good badminton player. If I say she is the best there is no doubt to say like that. Because she is the best badminton player I have seen in my life forever. She is around 60 years old woman. One day I got chance to play badminton with her and there was no wonder I was beaten. But I never gave up and practiced well after arriving home. Actually saying I played more than 10 times with her and I was beaten.

But one day unbelievably I beat her. I was so happy and I wanted to go there again and play with her. When I went there she was not at her place.I saw 60 years old my aunt was hardly practicing badminton at her garden. And again I was beaten. So I have learned lots of things from her experiences and I learned competitive spirit encourage the life to become success.

Although the competitive spirit help life to become success, on the other hand there are so many situations that competitive spirit effect negatively in human life. because I had a friend in my school call Ann. Her brother was very intelligent and he was got selected to medical college. Ann has said me many times that her brother was the badge 1st in the class. But unfortunately her brother has got failed in final exam and he suicide him self. That day I was shattered and I learned that competitive spirit has a negative side as well.

Finally I should say that there are both positive and negative effects linked with competitive spirit. We should have competitive spirit up to a limit and we shouldn't go beyond that limit.
